Women. We are all the same. When we want something, we often want it right away, and we don’t want to wait. That is especially true when it comes to getting pregnant. Once a woman decides that she wants to have a baby, it can be extremely hard to be patient and wait for it to happen. Keep reading for some tips on getting pregnant fast.

1. Ovulation: What You Need To Know

If you were only going to do one single thing to help yourself get pregnant faster, I would recommend that you find out for sure when you are ovulating. If you don’t know when you are ovulating, getting pregnant is only going to be a crapshoot. However, if you simply figure out when your fertile days are, you will be able to know when it is most likely for you to get pregnant, and you will be able to dramatically improve your chances of getting pregnant.

There are many different ways to figure out when you are ovulating, from ovulation predictor kits to online software and smartphone apps. You can also learn to chart your basal body temperature or track your cervical mucus.

2. Diet: What You Need To Know

Most women do not understand just what an important role diet plays in our fertility. Weight goes hand in hand with diet and is extremely important as well. Being overweight or underweight can wreak havoc on fertility.

Doctors say that if you are overweight, losing as little as five pounds can really improve your fertility. Cut out processed foods, junk foods, and things like cookies and candy that contain “empty calories”.

Replace these foods with whole grains, lean meats, fruits, veggies and full fat dairy products. (Studies actually show that women who eat full fat dairy products are more fertile than women who eat low fat dairy products).

Diet is of the utmost importance when you are trying to conceive, so keep that in mind. Also, you might want to start taking a prenatal vitamin before you start trying to conceive so you will be ready in case you do get pregnant.

3. Lifestyle: What You Need To Know

When you are trying to conceive, every lifestyle choice you make affects your fertility. Think about it with every choice you make and everything you do. For example, reducing stress and getting enough exercise is key to maintaining your fertility.

If you smoke, drink or use drugs, those things can all really hinder your fertility, so you need to stop as soon as possible. Sleep is also incredibly important for fertility, and all body healing for that matter.

As for your guy, keep him away from saunas, steam rooms and hot tubs, anything that could overheat his sperm and cause them to be damaged. The main point? Make good lifestyle choices, always, but most importantly when you are trying to conceive.
